Copywriting Team

It Takes Two (Well, Really…One)

Dana Severson has been writing since about the age of six, but didn't branch out professionally until...well, let's say it wasn't a full-fledged career until mid-2005. Of course, his looks weren't so scruffy as a small child, but that's still up for debate. We want pictures!

Prior to copywriting, Dana worked in marketing as a Manager of Business Development (it seemed like a natural transition). As part of the marketing machine, he was responsible for $1.75M of business annually through the development of targeted marketing campaigns in some of the biggest (and smallest) grocery store chains around the nation. He worked on brands like Big G Cereal, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Progresso, Old El Paso, Yoplait, Nature Valley, Cascadian Farms and Muir Glen.

More for moral support than anything else, Maggie has been part of the copywriting team since 2005. Yeah, she was just a pup, but her big brown eyes, cold wet nose and nub of a tail have been the source of many diversions (i.e. take me out, take me for a walk, look what I found, fill my kong, etc….). Here's looking to many more years to come!

In case you're wondering, she's part Cocker Spaniel, part Bichon, which means she's both stubborn and smart. Hence all the workday diversions. Plus, she's kinda OCD. Doesn't like anything out of place and lets you know it. Swear! She's been known to gruff and grumble at an overturned chair. Like Dana, she wants everything perfect. Of course, she could care less about the words...that's someone else's deal.
